No-selfie rule was enforced at this year’s Met Gala. But as you know, a number of celebs including Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber didn’t do as they were told posting photos from inside the event anyway.

Now Ms. Wintour allegedly wants them banned from the event for disobeying.
When Anna Wintour tells you not to take a selfie, you listen unless you don’t want to be invited to the Met Gala ever again.

For the first time in the history of fashion’s most spectacular event, Vogue ‘s editor-in-chief instructed that no social media photos were to be taken during the ball. Many attendees did not listen, and now Anna’s shortening the guest list for next year’s festivities, according to a new report.

“Anna is very aware of all the celebrities who ignored her request,” an insider told VH1’s The Gossip Table. “She does not know what she’s going to do yet but she’s deciding.” Other stars who are under fire? Katy Perry , Madonna, Kerry Washington , and Lily Collins, Rihanna, Cara Delevigne, Donatella Versace, Cher just to name a few.

Fire Outbreak At INEC Office Abuja

There was a minor fire outbreak at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) institute in Abuja on Saturday night, March 14, 2015.

No harm was done as the fire was swiftly contained, Punch reports.

Confirming the incident, the Chief Press Secretary to the chairman of the commission, Mr. Kayode Idowu, said no electoral material was affected by the fire.

Madonna hit the ground hard during her performance at the 2015 BRIT awards which held on Wednesday, February 25, 2014 at the 02 Arena.

Madonna tumbled down a set of stairs, landing awkwardly after a dancer tried removing a cape she was wearing at the time of her performance.

Madonna, 56, recovered quickly and returned to the stage to finish her song “Living for love”. The singer took to Instagram to express her feelings, “Nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up. Thanks for your good wishes!”

Madonna also released a statement that she’s fine and then explained that her cape had been tied too tight.

Borno State Government Declares Public Holiday For Buhari’s Rally

                           

Borno State Government has declared today, Monday, February 16,2015 a work free day for the APC presidential campaign rally of Gen Muhammadu Buhari

The State Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Jidda released a statement on the public holiday. According to Jidda, he said the gesture was to enable residents of the state welcome Buhari to the state for his campaign rally.

The statement reads;

“The Borno State Government has declared Monday as a work free day. The declaration is to enable the people of the state to welcome the APC presidential candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, who will arrive Maiduguri on a campaign visit on Monday.”

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate , General Muhammadu Buhari’s wife,  Hajiya Ashia Buhari appears to have kicked-off work before her husband wins election as President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, thereby giving her the title of the first lady. This is because, she has presented drugs worth over N135 million to inmates of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPS) in Adamawa.

Presenting the drugs, she said, “I am deeply touched with the plight of our people, we cannot pretend not to see the situation you people are into. We are not here for politic nor for religion but because we’re really touched by the condition you found yourselves”.

Mrs. Buhari was accompanied to the camps by wives of APC governors, senators, and some party chieftain in the state

Female Suicide Bomber Attacks Market In Borno, Kills Many

                           

A fatal bomb blast hit an overcrowded market in the largest Southern Borno town, Biu, had killed many, witnesses report.

According to the Channels Television, a member of the Biu Youth Volunteer popularly called “Civilian JTF” involved in the rescue efforts, who pleaded anonymity, said a suspected member of the Boko Haram sect entered the vegetable section of the Market and detonated an Improvised Explosives Devices (IED), killing 15 people at the market.

People who received varying degrees of injuries are currently receiving medical attention at the Biu General Hospital.
