Sweden
forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic showed off his fishing skills on Saturday
ahead of his country’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Liechtenstein on
Sunday. Sweden won the encounter 2-0.
Ibrahimovic was an unused substitute in
his country’s 1-1 draw against Russia on Thursday as he recovers from an
Achilles injury suffered while playing for Paris Saint-Germain in the
French league.
The 33-year-old went fishing with Claes Cleasson after training with his teammates.
On his Facebook page, Ibrahimovic is pictured all smiles with Cleasson after catching a huge pike.
The former Inter Milan star wrote,
“Gone fishing. Today we had a few hours of spare time after training. I
took the opportunity to go fishing with the legend Claes “Svartzonker”
Claesson. It resulted in two nice pikes. An unbeatable afternoon!”
Meanwhile, AC Milan striker Jeremy Menez
has admitted that he left PSG due to the competition for a starting spot

“I think it’s pretty cheeky to say I
didn’t achieve much in Paris. I won my first trophies there, my first
two seasons were quite satisfactory. You must not erase those seasons,”
he was quoted by BallBall as saying during the week.
“At first, when Ibrahimovic arrived, we both played in attack and it worked very well.
“Afterwards, when you play in a system in attack and you’re competing with Ibrahimovic, it immediately becomes difficult.
“I won’t pretend today that I could compete with him.”
