If We Bring a Foreign Coach Then We Must Also Bring Foreign Players – Keshi

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is considering the need to bring in a foreign Coach to replace Stephen Keshi, following the Super Eagles poor performance at the Nation Cup qualifiers but Keshi says if we must bring in a foreign manager then we must also bring in foreign players.

Super Eagles, who are supposed to be the defending champions at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, failed to qualify, due to a painful 2-2 draw with South Africa at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium.

In an interview with Brila FM, here is what Keshi had to say:

“If we need a foreign coach, we should also bring foreign players to play for Nigeria. So if they bring a white coach, he should come along with ‘Oyinbo’ players as well to play in the team.”
