A PREMIUM TIMES reporter could hear sounds of gunshots and explosion as he interviewed a resident of the town, who called him to inform about the attack.
“Sound of explosion and gunshots woke us up from sleep and we had to hurriedly leave to the outskirts of town where I am calling you from,” said the resident, who gave his name as Mr. Sunday.
A twitter user with the handle @callnisson confirmed he got a call from his friend to inform him of the situation:

bush:

Bajoga is the capital of Nafada LG in Gombe state. It is the town where Ashaka cement plant is located, and the Boko Haram sect raided on the plant last month during which carted away four Toyota Hilux vans packed with explosives.
